Do you need more volunteers?

RSVP works hard to place adults who are 55+ years of age in diverse volunteer opportunities around Monroe and Owen Counties.  We strive to be an excellent resource for our volunteers and want to stay current on local community needs.  Please be in touch with our office, and let us know what your volunteer needs are.  We can never guarantee that we will have the right volunteer for your organization, but we will do our best to spread the word.

We currently have over 80 organizations, called Volunteer Stations, listed in our database. As a Volunteer Station, your volunteer needs are tracked over the long term.  We provide ongoing volunteer referrals that have been matched with your needs.  We also publicize your organization’s needs to our volunteers through our newsletter.  Getting set up is a simple process.

FREE BACKGROUND CHECKS!

If you have volunteers who are 55+, we can provide a free background check for you when they sign up to be part of RSVP.  You can take advantage of this great cost-cutting measure for both your current volunteers and your new volunteers, provided they are 55+.

Do you already have volunteers but want to give them as much support as possible?

If so, WE CAN HELP!  RSVP provides extra support and benefits to adults (55+) who are already volunteering.  We do not require them to volunteer anymore than they already do.  We celebrate volunteerism and want to do what we can to help volunteers have the most rewarding experience possible.  Some of the FREE benefits that we can provide include:
• FREE supplemental insurance while volunteering (medical, liability, and automobile)
• $2,500 accidental death benefit to named beneficiary
• Invitation to our annual recognition event
• Ongoing support from RSVP office
• Quarterly newsletter spotlighting volunteers and opportunities
