Feldenkrais Method Awareness Through Movement
Begins October 9th, Tuesdays and Fridays: 5:30-6:30 (6 week session)

The Feldenkrais Method uses gentle movement, mindfulness, and attention to your own body sensations to create the possibility for more comfortable and efficient movement. It gives participants the opportunity to explore their patterns and expand their possibilities related to movement, thought, emotion, and kinesthetic sense. Most movements are on the floor, with some in chairs. Movements can be adapted if needed.
Alex is a certified Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement teacher. She discovered the Feldenkrais Method in 2013 through her musical training. She was initially struck by how much of a difference it made in her ability to deal with the stresses of school. She began to feel surer of herself and learned how to use less effort to accomplish more. Since then, Feldenkrais has influenced every facet of her life.
